2nd reminder: check oil levels UPRIGHT
If I am checking the oil level, I had better do it with the bike in an upright position. It's no use panicking and throwing a liter more oil in, and making an appointment with the garage, just because the oil level seems lower when you put the bike on its sidestand.The most tangible result of that, is me not riding my bike for a few days, and me making a complete ass of myself.
Bah.
